• Swissmiss on Good Life Project

Tina Roth Eisenberg aka Swissmiss is one of my big inspirations in life. Her values affects mine thoughts and values.

I loved when Tina told the story about when her daughter described of what Tina do as work:
    > You sit in front of a computer and laugh.

    It made me smile.

  • John Gruber at XOXO Festival

John Gruber of [Daring Fireball](http://daringfireball.net) talks about the early years of his blog. I wish that I would have been at [XOXO Festival](http://2014.xoxofest.com) to enjoy it, but watching it while doing the dishes was also a good experience (maybe next time?).

John shared those three valuable lessons, which made me think.

    – Know when to be stubborn.
    – Know when to be flexible.
    – Prioritize quality over money.

  • Interview with Jonathan Ive

I can’t stop listening to this man. His voice is so beautiful, and I think that you can hear just by listening to him, that he is a one of our times greatest designers. Just watch it.

  • Waiting for the Subway – High Speed video

Beautiful high speed video of people waiting for the subway at Grand Central Station in New York. Made by [Adam Magyar](http://vimeo.com/adammagyar).

  • Inspiration: Return To Craft

I spent 120 seconds tonight watching this short segment with Brad Frost. I enjoyed it, especially those words:

    > People are starting to appreciate craft more.

  • Great interview with Helena Price

    Helena Price:

    > It’s very easy to get tied up in what other people are doing and compare yourself to others. We’re in an age where everyone is on the Internet and everything has metrics attached to it. My advice would be to stay very focused on making good personal work with your own unique perspective.

I recommend that you read the whole piece. As usual on The Great Discontent, it’s a great interview filled with thoughtful things to think about, especially if you work in the design/web/photo industry.

  • Creative Mornings – Seth Godin

    > The myth of the overnight success is just that, a myth. — Seth Godin

  • Kodebyraaet

Lovely website. I’m especially found of the menu. Norway is filled with great designers and developers.

  • New website – Creative Mornings

    Brilliant.

(Design and development by [Oak.is](http://oak.is) – one of my favorite design studios).

  • Interview with Frank Chimero

    > “It’s more important to do good and interesting things than it is to make money. If you do good and interesting things, then you have to trust that the money will follow.”
    – Frank Chimero

  • Video: Finding your voice – Dave Grohl

    > [Think about Photshop with that one. I had to find three photographs of the men with the same lighting …]

    > With Photoshop I’ve could have done it in, you know, ten minutes.

Tack George.

Bonus: [96 sekunder frågestund med George](https://viktorbijlenga.se/creativemornings-short-george-lois/).

  • Homegrown Swedes
